Beer Day Britain: Meet Our New Signature Cask Designs.. and our new beer made with British hops.
Brew York is now seven years old, and it’s time for a design refresh.
We’ve come a long way since those first brews back in 2016. We’ve expanded our core range, established some firm fan favourites and a barrel-ageing programme, and how lucky we are to be able to brew quality collabs and brand-new beers regularly!
We have a lot of stories we want to tell you through our beer, and adventures we want to take you on with us. We love our branding and beer designs, but due to the number of beers we now make, we want to refine how we present them to the world. In order to do this, we are working with United By Design, a York-based creative agency who we have worked with pretty much from day one. Together we are refreshing our brand, and more clearly defining the designs to better showcase our various beer ranges. In doing this we aim to lay some solid foundations for the next chapter of Brew York.</>
As part of this project, our best-selling, regularly-brewed ‘core’ range will be rebadged ‘Signature’. In addition, we’ll be working on branding for our new releases, collaborations, rebrews, special editions, and our cask portfolio, to sit alongside our existing State of Mind collection.
To mark Beer Day Britain on 15th June we wanted to share with you the first stage of this project – our core or ‘Signature’ cask series. You’ll notice this includes a newcomer, too, ‘Fennec’ – a brand-new blonde beer made with British hops to both complement and complete the set. These are all available now.
Head of Marketing Rachel Auty says “Our Signature range features the beers we brew most often and we are really proud of them all. As we’ve seen our cask sales increase by 54% over the last 12-months it’s timely that we have now added Fennec – an easy-drinking session blonde made with Fuggles and UK Cascade hops – alongside fresh branding which we hope really showcases the quality of the brews themselves. We’re excited to move to the next part of the rebrand as we work across our ranges.”
This is just a taste of what’s to come over the following months as we continue this journey and slowly transition from the current to the new. We hope you like what you see and we can’t wait to share more new designs with you.
