Handley Tap
Handley Tap is in Osbaldwick, just outside of bustling York city centre if you’re looking to avoid the crowds. This taproom is situated at our state-of-the-art production facility, so our beers don’t need to travel at all and are about as fresh as you’ll find!
Handley Tap is open exclusively on weekends with weekly changing street food vendors to keep you well-fed. For more information on who’s cooking each weekend, check out our social media pages.

OUR BEER
Brew York offers a good range of craft beers at Handley Tap across 10 keg and 4 cask lines. These generally include a wide range of pale ales, stouts, blondes, sours and IPAs. We’ll always have our Signature range favourites pouring, and our limited new releases will pour here, too. Watch out for award-winning Coney and our superb 0.5% hazy pale, Loris.
OTHER DRINKS
In addition to our delicious craft beer, Handley Tap has an impressive selection of speciality cocktails, carefully curated wines, top-shelf spirits, and refreshing soft drinks. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic cocktail or a unique concoction, you’ll find something to suit your taste buds.

DO YOU ALLOW CHILDREN?
Under 18s are very welcome to join us until 8pm when accompanied by an adult. Some family friendly activities are provided.
Baby changing facilities are available. Please feel free to bring your own baby food/ milk etc and we can warm it for you if required. We are breastfeeding friendly.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
The main building has ground floor level access with doorways wide enough for most wheelchairs and pushchairs.
The bar, street food and toilets are located on the ground floor with level access and one spacious, wheelchair-friendly toilet cubicle is available.
DO YOU CATER FOR SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Many of our beers are gluten-free and/ or vegan. Alternative drinks are also available, such as cider and wine. Please ask our bar staff for more details.
We aim to ensure our street food partners cater to a range of dietary requirements. Please check directly with them when you arrive regarding any specific queries.
IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?
Limited free parking is available at the front of the main building during taproom opening times.
CAN I HAVE MY EVENT HERE?
You can hire this venue for private events or make large group bookings. To enquire about the options available, please feel free to send us an email.
