Karl will guide you through the process from start to finish.
Working from a photo reference on a canvas board Karl will show you how to prepare the surface then how to start with a preliminary sketch, to gaining a likeness.
Building on this sketch Karl will develop the portrait and your skills to create a portrait that you can take away with you and hopefully be proud of.
Karl will provide tips to help you continue your art journey. Choosing the right materials and photo reference or how to pose and light a model.
All materials can be provided but if you have favourite brushes etc then feel free to bring them along.
