Wander Beyond – Hold On!
This bold Imperial Milk Stout was inspired by a dessert made with chocolate, mango, raspberries and a ginger biscuit crumb.
We used treacle and muscovado sugars in the kettle which add a subtle burnt sugar flavour, we then added 110g/l of raspberry and 110g/l of mango during the final stages of fermentation which blend together to add a complex tangy fruit flavour. Ginger and cacao were carefully dosed to partner the fruit flavours without overpowering them.
‘Hold On!’ was designed to have a high finishing gravity to give a body that’s smooth and luxurious like a dessert.
This beer is complex, sweet and adventurous… Hold On!
