By The Horns Brewing Company – Samurai Session V2.0
Samurai Session V2.0 is the second release of our collaboration with our friends at Kanpai, where we used their sake kasu (the lees from brewing sake) to help ferment this beer. This 2.0 version is in the style of an American Pale Ale with both East & West Coast influences. It’s hazy, with a smooth mouth feel & dry hopped at 12g/l offering a juicy aroma, but with the subtle twist of a dry finish & umami notes developing from the sake kasu.
Malt: 80% Barley, 20% Oats
Hops: El Dorado, Citra, Calypso, Centennial, Mosaic, Amarillo
Yeast: Fermentis, US05
