New Year’s Eve at Handley Tap

Gather your favourite people and come join us at York’s best-kept secret, Handley Tap, where the freshest local beer will be pouring as we see out 2023.
This year we have TWO sessions.
- The EARLY SESSION is 5pm until 8.30pm for all those who like to get out for some early beverages, and then head home to get the kids to bed or move on to another celebration elsewhere. This session is free entry but you will still need a ticket for it (see below).
- The LATE SESSION is 8.30pm to 12.30am and is especially for those who love a late night party and would like to see in the New Year with us. Tickets are just £5 and any under 5s coming to this session will need a free ticket.
We are still finalising the plan for the evening, but as well as a superb choice of our beers, plus wines, cocktails and spirits, we will have street food, music + dance floor and more tbc.
We have limited tickets available so don’t delay on securing yours!
Please note that under 18s will need to leave the venue by midnight – this is a condition of our licence so we are sorry we are unable to negotiate on this.
Please also note, those joining us for the early session and wishing to stay on for the late session are advised to secure tickets for both sessions in advance. Tickets to the late session will only be available to buy on the night if they have not already sold out via advance sales.
