Haast’s Eagle

The Haast’s Eagle is an extinct Eagle that once roamed the South Island of New Zealand and is widely thought to be the Pouakai of Maori legend. It’s the largest Eagle to have ever existed and could easily have snatched away a small child.

Our Haast’s Eagle is equally big, bold and brazen celebrating the latest New Zealand hop harvest with bountiful quantities of Southern Cross, Motueka and Nelson Sauvin.

The initial citrus hit runs into the unmistakeable crisp, dry, gooseberry character of the sublime Nelson Sauvin. Drinks well below it’s not insignificant 5.9% strength!
