Walmgate
Welcome to our flagship Brew York venue in Walmgate, York city centre. This is where we first started brewing, and today you can get up close and personal with the brewing vessels.
Downstairs is our taproom, with exposed brick walls and some funky murals. Here you’ll find six cask hand pulls and ten keg taps that pour all kinds of fresh Brew York beer, including our Signature classics and limited new releases.
We do weekly brewery tours where our expert in-house guide tells you about the history of Brew York and how we brew our beer, and gives you beer tasters to try. Our gift shop is right at the entrance, and you can get a ton of cool stuff like our latest can releases, classic beers, and branded merch.
When the weather is good you’ll love our Brewer’s Yard at the front of the building, and to the rear is York’s hidden gem – our covered Riverside beer garden.
Upstairs we’ve got our Bavarian-style Beer Hall with 40 beer taps and the biggest selection of beers, lagers, and ciders in York and the surrounding area. Our open kitchen serves up some wicked Asian-inspired dishes from YUZU Street Food, and we’ve got a quiz in the Beer Hall every Sunday!
