Brew York is thrilled to announce that two of its Signature IPAs have earned top honours at the prestigious 2024 SIBA Independent Beer Awards Bottle & Can Competition. Widely regarded as the UK’s leading competition for bottled and canned beers, this event features anonymised judging by brewers, beer sommeliers, and expert tasters, ensuring an unbiased celebration of brewing excellence.
Time Travelling Taxi – a hazy IPA – took home GOLD and was crowned Category Champion in the Bottle & Can Pale Ale (4.5% – 5.5% category.) Juice Forsyth, a long-time fan favourite fruited IPA, secured SILVER in the Bottle & Can Specialty IPA category.

The competition judges beers against internationally recognised style guides, assessing appearance, aroma, flavour, aftertaste, and saleability. Neil Walker, SIBA’s Head of Communications, praised this year’s winners, stating:
“The SIBA Independent Beer Awards are one of a kind in the UK, judged by expert beer sommeliers, experienced international judges, and master brewers. To win at these awards, you really must be the best of the best. Huge congratulations to all of this year’s medallists and, in particular, our Overall Gold Category Champions.”

Time Travelling Taxi and Juice Forsyth now join Brew York’s growing roster of award-winning Signature beers, alongside Golden Eagle, Coney, and Loris.
Both Time Travelling Taxi and Juice Forsyth, along with the rest of Brew York’s Signature range, are available now via the Brew York website and selected pubs, bars and restaurants across the UK.
Some of Brew York’s Signature collection can also be found in supermarkets across the UK. Juice Forsyth and Time Travelling Taxi are available nationwide at Morrisons, with Juice Forsyth also stocked in select Asda stores. Time Travelling Taxi and Coney can also be found in Tesco stores across Yorkshire.
