The Tap Room

Our brewery is located within the historic city walls of York. This is because we wanted to create a venue where people could visit the tap room on foot and sample our beer at it’s freshest within the brewery. We were lucky enough to find a 550 sq meter warehouse with a riverside yard! A lick of paint here and there and some TLC and we think we’ve created a destination pretty unique for York.
Come down and enjoy our beer whilst overlooking our latest brews fermenting away, or enjoy a fresh pint in our beer garden opposite the impressive Rowntree Wharf. We have 7 cask beers on rotation as well and 9 keg beer lines and 3 cider lines, see our current line up below. The tap room is family friendly until 8pm and we are also dog friendly.
Opening Times
Our Tap Room is open plan, you can almost touch the vessels whilst enjoying a pint. As such our opening hours are restricted by our brew schedule. But we are open from Thursdays through to Saturdays.
We do open our gift shop on the days the tap room is closed, so you can always pick up one of your favourite brews to enjoy at home

Smokin Blues

Smokehouse & BBQ

Our food origins are in the Southern States and their love of food prepared ‘low and slow’, traditionally burning wood to cook and using the smoke to flavour meat, then adding home made spiced rubs and sauces.  We’ve grown this idea into unique menus for all types of events from festivals to weddings and everything in between.
